A new building to house the Institute is at present nearing completion, a wide range of pilot plant is available and further equipment is constantly being added. Process development work is carried out in close liaison with dairy industry organisations and with workers engaged in more basic research. One or more of the following qualifications would be regarded as an advantage. Engineering or Food Technology Degree, A.M.I. Chem. E., Science Degree with Stud. I. Chem. E., A.M.I. Meeh. E. Some experience in process development or in food plant design and operation would be desirable. Salary ranges applicable lie between £ll3O and £2OOO p.a. depending on qualifications and experience.
