Airlift For Choir

The National Airways Corporation can be expected t > be busy over the Queen's Birthday week-end. Yesterday in addition to normal services a chartered Friendship took some of the members of the Royal Christchurch Musical Society's choir to Auckland, where it is to perform in the Festival of Arts. In addition. 92 other members flew north on scheduled flights. Still more of the 170 in the choir went in a chartered Friendship on Thursday. On Sunday some will return to the city in a chartered Viscount, and the remainder will come in three special fights on Monday.
