Found Guilty Of Wounding
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 3. A jury ia the Supreme Court at Auckland today found Calvin Berry Williams, aged 22, a scrubcutter, guilty of a charge of wounding with intent, but not guilty of attempting to murder the T.A.B. agent at Tuakau in February this year. Williams was charged after the. shooting of Walter Rotherham at the T.A.B. agency at Taukau on the night of February 20. Mr Justice Gresson remanded him for sentence. He was represented by Dr. C. J. Fernyhough, and Mr D. S. Morris conducted the case for the Crown.
