Rink Vote Confirmed
Provision is made in the Waimairi County Council’s estimates for the spending of. £7OOO for the proposed skating rink at Jellie Park. According to the report of the finance committee to the council last night, it was agreed that the money would be well spent. Although it would be the winter of 1966 before the skating rink could be provided, pipes and other equipment could be ordered in advance.
