Safety-Belt Campaign
The recent safety belt campaign had attracted little interest, members of the Christchurch Metropolitan Rrtad Safety Committee were told last evening. “We might just as well have saved our money,” said the secretary (Mr E. H. Quinn). Two retailers had noticed no increased interest, and a third only a slight increase. A firm of body builders had noticed some interest Aurin" the campaign, but it had tapered off soon afterwards, he said.
