Australians And Chinese

(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, May 23. Australian and Chinese scientists today called for more exchanges of scientific visits between their two countries. Professor Yin Tsan-hsun. director of the department of earth sciences of the Academia Sinica, Peking, said he would welcome more visits between scientists of Australia and China and a greater exchange of information. Professor Yin said he and three other Chinese scientists who have been touring Australia for four weeks were received in a very friendly, warm and hospitable fashion wherever thej went. The former president of the Academy of Science, Sir Thomas Kerry, told reporters the academy was thoroughly in favour of continued interchange of visits between China and Australia.
