Williams Sent For Trial

(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, April 30. Calvin Berry Williams, aged 22, a scrub-cutter, was today committed to the Supreme Court for trial when he pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempting to murder Walter Rotherham, manager of the Tuakau branch of the T.A.B. cn February 20. Mr N. M. Izard, S.M., declined an application for bail. The hearing, which occupied two days earlier in the week at Pukekohe had been adjourned to Hamilton.
