Manchester United, which beat Arsenal, 3-1. last night, is 99.9 per cent certain of winning the English first division soccer championship. Leeds United, the only other club with a chance of taking the title, drew, 3-3. with Birmingham City and has now completed its pro-: gramme. Both clubs have 61 points but Manchester United, whose last match is against Aston Villa on Wednesday, has a vastly superior goal average. Only defeat by a huge margin on Wednesday, calculated at 19-0. could stop Manchester United winning the title. Results:— ENGLISH LEAGUE Division One.—Birmingham 3. Leeds 3: Blackpool 3.
