Two Men For Sentence

AUCKLAND, April 23

Brian Jack Badger, aged 34, a clerk, left for Australia after stealing £1373 from the Bledisloe departmental building cafeteria, but later gave himself up at a Sydney police station, Mr R. M. Grant, S.M., was told today. Badger admitted stealing the money by failing to account for it, and was remanded for a week for sentence.

Leonard William Corcoran, aged 42, a secretary, who admitted stealing £328 8s 4d from the Y.M.C.A. canteen in H.M.N.Z.S. Philomel, while a servant there, was also remanded a week for sentence.
