WELLINGTON. April 13. A young couple living as man and wife supported themselves for the greater part of this year by working as a team to commit burglaries and steal goods in Auckland and later in Wellington, Detective-Sergeant D. Winter said today. Rose Maria Reti, aged 18, a factory hand, and Norman Danley Joyce, aged 19, assembler, pleaded guilty before Mr J. A. Wicks, S.M., to joint charges of burglary of the Wellington East Girls’ College on March 21, burglary of a room in Queen street on March 2, and theft of a recordergram valued at £169 10s from Charles Begg, Ltd., in Auckland on February 5. Joyce also pleaded guilty to a further charge of burglary of the Wellington East Girls’ College on March 22. They were remanded in custody till Thursday for probation reports and sentence.
