Hororata Club Has Loss
The Hororata Racing Club made a loss of £551 during the last year, the annual report and balance sheet reveals. In his report, the chairman. Mr J. F. Thwaites, said the last meeting could have been the final one on the Hororata course where the club has raced for 80 years. The club was looking into the possibility of moving to Riccarton, he said, but nothing was final. Rehandicaps (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. For his' win in the Bollard Memorial at Avondale yesterday Leawayne has been rehandicapped 71b to Sst in the President’s Handicap at Ellerslie on Saturday. In the Eden Handicap Standfast has been raised 51b to Sst 51b. Standfast has been rehandicapped 71b to Sst 101 b in the Farewell Handicap at Rotorua on Saturday.
