Withdraw
The 1964 West Coast Rugby League wing, R. J. Rochford (Greymouth Marist), will replace his club-mate. L. Brown, in The Rest team to play Canterbury at the Show Grounds on Easter Monday. Brown has withdrawn because of a shoulder injury. It is unlikely that he would be able to take part in the Marist tournament at-the week-end.
The Kiwi. J. M. Bray (Hornby), has withdrawn from the Canterbury team because of a pulled hamstring. He suffered the injury in a tackle during the club match against Marist on Saturday. The injury is not serious, hut Bray has been advised i that playing in the match may aggravate it. His replacement is likely to [be J. Hawthorne (Papanui). [ who is one of the reserves. If I Hawthorne is selected he will probably play at outside centre, with P. V. Smith (Marist) moving to inside centre.
