2000m To See Game

KARACHI, April 13
The New Zealand cricket team has not had many avid supporters to watch its games in India and Pakistan, but there is a New Zealander in Karachi for the third test who has shown singular enthusiasm.
He is 23-year-old Mr D. McLean, from Waipu, and he has flown more than 2000 miles from Saudi Arabia to see the game. Mr McLean left New Zealand
to lecture in New Zealand's I geography and history for the Commonwealth Institute in London, and for a brief period he was on the staff at New Zealand House.
About six months ago he took an appointment as physical education instructor for the Saudi Arabian Government.
It will be another two months before his engagement ends and he returns to New’ Zealand.
