VISIT TO NAURU
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright)
LAE, April 12.
The United Nations mission touring Australian territories left Lae by chartered airliner today for the phosphate island of Nauru. The mission declined applications by several news-gath-ering organisations for reporters to accompany it to Nauru.
The only journalist on the plane was Miss K. V. Jones, an employee of the PapuaNew Guinea Administration, whose reports will be issued in Canberra.
