Defence
Sir, —When the Christchurch R.S.A. admitted an exenemy German soldier to membership soon after World War I, they served the cause of world peace much better than their usual and present agitation for increased arms. Military opposition by Britain, Japan, China, France, and now America has only strengthened communism. Our only defence against it is to show we have a better system.—Yours, etc., SETH NEWELL. April 13, 1965.
