Suburban Drivers
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 12. Four hundred members of the Northern Drivers' Union will hold a stop-work meeting on Wednesday morning to hear a report on award proceedings. The drivers of 11 Auckland suburban bus companies will be affected. An official of the union, Mr L. T. Smith, said today services would run in the morning until it was time for the meeting. The services would begin to stop from about 10 a.m. The meeting will be held at 11 a.m. in the Trades Hall This union does not include the municipal drivers who are members of the Auckland Tramways Union and operate the buses of the transport division of the Auckland Regional Authority.
