Stowaway Who “Liked Ship”
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 12. An 18-year-old Dutch-born, Australian stowaway was taken into custody by police when the cruise liner Oriental Queen berthed in Auckland today. He was found wandering around the decks the first night out when the ship left Auckland on March 30 on a cruise to Noumea and Suva. Earlier he arrived in Auckland from Sydney as a passenger in the Oriental Queen and was reported to have liked the ship so much he decided to stay on.
