ADVERTISING SEMINAR
40 Expected To Attend
The Young Admen’s Association of Christchurch will hold its first seminar in advertising from April 27 to April 29. The theme will be “The Salemakers” and during the course addresses will be given by several prominent Christchurch businessmen.
Forty young advertising men, some from Auckland, are expected to attend the seminar, final arrangements for which were made at the association’s annual meeting last night.
Other courses include a forum in May on outdoor advertising. Another on the production of advertising for television will be held later. Officers elected were: President, Mr L. Smith: secretarytreasurer. Mr T. Carr; committee, Messrs J. Edwardes, D. Rough, T. Jarrett, and D. Russell.
