HURT LAST SEASON
Ready To Play On Saturday (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 29. Three of Auckland’s outstanding Rugby players who were out of action last winter will be taking the field again when the club season begins on Saturday. They are M. Dick, W. Nathan and R. Patterson. Dick and Nathan, who suffered serious leg injuries shortly after their return from the All Black tour to Britain, and who missed the whole of the 1964 season, have made complete recoveries.
Patterson transferred to Palmerston North midway through last season but is to return to Auckland and will rejoin his old club, Otahuhu.
The return of Patterson and Dick will complicate the wing position in the Auckland team, as D. McKay, B. Keys and J. Aratema will again be available.
