(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 28. The next Mammoth lottery with its £60,000 first prize will be on sale throughout New Zealand on Thursday. The lottery organiser, Mr N. McArthur, said that selling agents had been notified that tickets were not to be retailed before the opening date.
THE SCREEN Directors’ Association of Japan has sent a written protest to the Tokyo Olympic Organising Committee over its decision to make a new film on the Tokyo Games, which the Government has described as too artistic to be a documentary. A spokesman for the Japan Scenario Writers’ Association said its members would refuse to work on the new film.
