Scotch Grattan Is Fancied In Double

AUCKLAND. Stephen Water, in the Goldfields Handicap, and Scotch Grattan, in the TwohilQ Memorial Handicap, are a fancied combination for the double at the Thames Trotting Club’s meeting at Alexandra Park Raceway tonight. The hardest for Stephen Water to beat in the first leg might be Taffy and John Dee, while most opposition for Scotch Grattan in the second leg could come from Irish Earl and Opeka. Showers are forecast, but the track is expected to be in good order.
