Second Tree Stolen
A yew tree was stolen from the grounds of the Christchurch Girls’ High School on Sunday evening, reported the principal (Miss P. Robinson) to a meeting of the school’s board of governors last evening. This was the second yew stolen and was the replacement for the first stolen a few I weeks ago. Miss Robinson said she would not be surprised if the same person stole both. Perhaps the first one died, and he came back for the other, she added.
