Police Seek Witnesses
The police are seeking witnesses of an accident in which a six-year-old boy was injured when struck by a car at the Riccarton racecourse on Sunday afternoon. The boy. David Bruce Sandford, of 4 Odie place, Linwood, was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital. His condition yesterday was reported to be comfortable. In the report of the accident on Monday, the boy's address was incorrectly given as 4 Abbey place. Any person who saw the accident is asked to get in touch with the motor accident branch at the Christchurch Central Police Station.
