(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Feb. 21. The three-year-old Svdnev yacht, Travelodge iR. Holmes) confirmed her position as firm favourite in the international 18-footer yachting championship by comfortably winning the first heat of the contest In a brisk westerly wind on the Waitemata harbour today. The Auckland champion. Miss T.G.A. (R. Kean), finished second, 2min 6sec behind Travelodge. Miss Holeproof (J. Lasher. Auckland) was third and Miss Jan (K. Martin, Queensland) fourth.
