Copenhagen Flights

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Feb. 17. S.A.S., the Scandinavian airlines system, is planning to link with extended T.E.A.L. services towards the end of this year to give a direct Los Angeles-Copenhagen air service. The passenger sales manager of S.A.S. (Mr V. H. Schultz) said in Auckland today his company had on order long-range DCB jets to make the link in one hop. The company’s present ECB’s would require one stop in Greenland. The T.E.A.L. service, by way of Fiji and Honolulu, will begin soon after the opening of the Mangere international airport, scheduled for November 24.
