Champion Fairs The champion of champion pairs competition will commence on Saturday when 51 pairs will play on four greens. Representatives of the following clubs wUI report for play on the Opawa green at 9 a m.:— Cashmere, United, Woodend. South Brighton, Sheffield, Akaroa, Edgeware, Sumner, Morrison Avenue, Christchurch W.M.C., Woolston, Rakaia, Cust, Papanul, Burwood, Rangiora, Shirley, Darfield, Rlccarton Racecourse, Ashburton, Elmwood, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi and Imperial. South Brighton Green, 9 a.m. Start.—Kalapol W.M.C., Bumside, Redcliffs, Mona Vale, Canterbury, Linwood, Avon, Christchurch, New Brighton, Amberley, Beckenham, Barrington, St. Albans, and Spreydon. Start at noon: R.S.A., Halswell, Klrwee, Fendalton, and Opawa. St. Martins Green, Start 9 a.m.—Dallington, Leeston, Tai Tapu, Hornby, Belfast, Sydenham, Rlccarton W.M.C., and Mt. Pleasant.

The finals of both the open pairs and open singles will be played on the St. Martins green on Saturday at t a.m. Pairs.—Thompson (Shirley), two-lifer, plays McNab (R.S.A.), one-lifer.
