Obituary
MR M. R. ALDRIDGE (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Feb. 15. Mr M. R. Aldridge, a former Chief Postmaster at Dunedin, Palmerston North and Greymouth, died in Dunedin on Sunday. Since his retirement from the Post and Telegraph Department in 1950, after 40 years’ service, Mr Aldridge had been on the advertising staff of the “Otago Daily Times.”
Mr Aldridge was born at Springfield, Canterbury, in 1892 and educated at Balclutha, Hamilton and Wellington.
