Family Hurt In Accident
Mr M. R. Carter, a Christchurch city councillor, his wife and their 13-year-old son David, are in Calvary Hospital with injuries suffered when the family car hit a one-way bridge on the Lewis Pass road on Sunday afternoon.
Mr Carter suffered a broken leg, Mrs Carter cuts on her face 'and shock, and David cuts on his head and legs. Their condition last evening was reported to be satisfactory.
