Easing In Sales (N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, Feb. 16. Sales of Australian wool during the six months July to January totalled 2,820,314 bales worth £217,512,115. the National Council of Woolselling Brokers reported today. This compared with 3,030.177 bales worth £274,765,048 in the corresponding period of the previous year. The average price of greasy wool during the period was 61.02 d a pound and that for scoured 79.47 d against 70.69 d and 84.72 d respectively for the previous season.
