Offered on account of the estate of Miss L M. Archer, a weatherboard bungalow at 1 Te Awa Kura terrace, St. Andrew’s Hill, was sold for £4700 at public auction yesterday. The auctioneer was Mr G. H. Kissell. The initial bid was £4250. There was one bid of £250, and two of £lOO. The house has three bedrooms, lounge, sunroom, and kitchen-dinette. The Government valuation is £4300, and the rates are £5O 3s Bd. A house on a section of 26.3
I perches, zoned residential B, at 135 Aikmans road, Papanui, was sold by private treaty after being passed in at £2650. The property was offered on account of the estate of Jane Kean by Mr Colin Robertson. The house has four bedrooms, two living rooms, kitchen, and bathroom. A house on a section of 20 perches, zoned industrial A, at 34 Lowe street, Addington, was sold for £2350. The auctioneer was Mr Denys Chapman. The rates are £l4 14s 2d.
