. v MELBOURNE. Australian buyers who paid a record £268.000 at the 1964 New Zealand Yearling Sales are expected again to dominate the buying this year, says the Melbourne ’’Sun.”
The sales wiH be held at Trentham on January 26, 27. and 28.
A plane-load of Melbourne racing men will leave Essendon Airport for New Zealand on January 22, the day before the Wellington Cup. The Sydney. Adelaide and Brisbane contingents for the sales are also expected to bo largo.
