ARCHERY RECORD
(N.Z. Press Association) GISBORNE, Jan. 4. The 15-year-old Auckland bowman, Stanley Culpitt, of the Auckland Archery Club, set a national record of 760, including six golds, in the intermediate boys’ event, in the first round of the short-range championship at the national archery tournament which opened today. At 30 yards he had five perfect ends and landed another gold at 50 yards. The old record was 728.
