SNATCHED VICTORY

C. Williamson Wins 250 T.T. (N.Z. Press Association) HASTINGS, December 28. The Auckland rider, G. Williamson, hammered his ex-works Honda to a close win in the New Zealand 259 c.c. tourist trophy race at Hastings today. He overcame strenuous opposition from R. Waterer, on a Greeves, to snatch the lead in the fifth and final lap of the fast 4.3 mile circuit and win by 20 yards. Results:
