APPROVAL Of DATES
8 Of 12 Permits Settled
Dates for eight of the 12 new permits allocated recently have been approved by the Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Seath). This was announced yesterday by the secretary of the New Zealand Trotting Conference (Mr J. Rawley). The new dates are:— Canterbury Park, February 10. Northland, February 19. New Brighton, March 17. Central Otago, April 20, at Omakau. Forbury Park, May 4, at night. Auckland, May 15 and 22, at night.’ Kurow, May 29, at Oamaru. Dates for the pennits allocated to Morrinsville, Rotorua, Cambridge and Rangiora have yet to be decided.
