M. J. Skelton Accepts "The Press" Special Service DUNEDIN, Dec. 16. M. J. Skelton, the youngest of the Skelton brothers, has accepted a position with the Wingatui owner-trainer, J. B. Brown. Skelton was apprenticed to J. A. Cox, at Riccarton, but when Cox discontinued training he completed his apprenticeship with K. J. Thomson, who for the last few months has been training at Otaki. Skelton will be on hand for the opening of the Dunedin Jockey Club’s cup meeting on Saturday week when his mounts will include Kathleigh and Killinchy.
