Armoured Unit Camp

The Ist Reconnaissance Squadron (N.Z.) Scottish will go into camp at West Melton next month for three weeks’ annual field training. Members of the 2nd Reconnaissance Squadron from Dunedin and cadets from Christ’s College and St. Andrew’s College under Major F. Finnegan will also attend the camp. Regular Force members, 10 of whom recently returned from guard duty in London, will assist with the training. It is expected that the squadron will later carry out an exercise on Banks Peninsula which will be watched by the Chief of the General Staff (Major-General L. W. Thornton).
