ORDER FOR BANANAS
Contract With Fiji (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. New Zealand had undertaken to import no fewer than 220,000 cases of bananas a year from Fiji for the next two years, the Department of Industries and Commerce announced tonight. New Zealand has also undertaken to import more Fijian bananas if the demand exists. The Government of Fiji will try to ensure that the quality of the fruit is maintained and improved.
