Bride (83) Was Late

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, October 11.

A bride, aged 83, was 15 minutes late for her wedding yesterday. The groom, aged 79, waited nervously in the church. They were William Anderson and Mrs Emily Conrad. They were married at Australia’s oldest Anglican church, near Sydney, St. Luke’s, Liverpool. “We only met three months ago,” said the happy bridegroom. “Emily lived next to my sister for years. "One day we met and found we knew mutual friends. Emily is my star from heaven.”

At the wedding service there were more than 30 guests, including the bride’s three grandchildren.
