MINISTER’S CLAIM
Education Bill Agreed To (K.Z. Prest Association) HAMILTON, October 11. The Minister <rf Education (Mr Kinsella) claims that both the Post-Primary Teachers’ Association and the Education Institute reached agreement on the Education Bill before it was presented to Parliament. In Hamilton yesterday for an executive meeting of the Waikato division of the National Party, he said all clauses in the bill had been discussed with these organisations. “When the draft was produced, the N.Z.E.I. gave us| their complete support and there was no general dissatis-: faction from the P.P.T.A.,” he said'. But to show the bill in its final form before it was introduced to Parliament by the Governor-General would have been a breach of privilege.
