Totalisator Contract
The New York Racing Association has signed a contract with the Australian firm of Automatic Totalisators, Ltd., for totalisator equipment valued at nearly 4 million dollars and the servicing of the equipment for a period of at least eight years. The New York Racing Association controls racetracks at Aqueduct, Belmont Park and Saratoga in New York State. The totalisator turn-over on these tracks is about 600 million dollars a year and daily turn-over at each averages 3 million dollars. NORTH CANTERBURY RACING CLUB INC.
