Donnelly May Bring Test Players
The brief return to New Zealand of M. P. Donnelly now seems almost certain. The I Zingari Cricket Club, of Australia, of which Donnelly is a member, has again contacted the Canterbury Cricket Supporters’ Club and has indicated that it will be in Christchurch on March 14 next year. It would like a one-day
■ match against the Supporti ers* Club, which is almost r certain to accept. I Donnelly, along with two • post-war Australian test I players, R. G. Archer and J. W. Burke, are fairly certain r to tour, and the former Aus-
tralian captain, I. D. Craig, will also probably make his fourth visit to this country. The I Zingari club is to make a semi-social tour of ..iNew Zealand and matches are t being arranged in all of the main centres. o In Auckland, the elub will t play an eleven organised by L W. M. Wallace, the New Zean land selector and former caps- tain.
