Engineers Off To Thailand
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 28. A party of two Army officers and 31 men left Auckland by air today for Thailand to assist British engineers on bridge construction. The party was lead by Captain W. Jenkin, of Army Headquarters, Wellington. A similar party of New Zealanders was working with the Royal Enginers in Thailand until the monsoon season in July. This party is expected to be in Thailand until Christmas.
