A New Flea

A hitherto-unknown flea has been found living on the rim of the Ngorongoro crater in Tanganyika. The man who found it, Mr Andersen Hubbard. an American entomologist, has named it “ctenophthalmus grzimeki” in memory of a young biologist. Michael Grzimek, who died in a .plane crash in 1959 while conducting scientific research in the Serangeti plains.—Tanganyika, Sept. 22.
