Chinese Minister Retiring

The Presbyterian minister in charge of Chinese in the South Island (the Rev. W. K. Chan) was retiring, and would not be replaced, the Rev. D. Glenny, convener of the life and mission committee, reported to a meeting of the Christchurch Presbytery It was agreed by the meeting that the names of all Chinese families in Christchurch should be sent to the appropriate parish ministers, who were asked to receive them into pastoral care.
