Veterinary School . (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept 9. A grant for the construction of an animal breeding building for the veterinary school at Massey University has been approved by the Government This was announced today by the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella). The grant has been approved on the recommendation of the University Grants Committee. The new building of 8000 sq. ft is designed for use for animal production and animal accommodation for the veterinary biology department. Until the main veterinary building is available, however, part of the space will be used for clinical work. This will enable students now in the school to .undertake the clinical science and animal health study required in the third year of the course. When the main building is erected, the whole of the new building now authorised will be used as .animal accommodation. The successful tenderer Is Bod ell and Company, Ltd.,, whose price of £64,277 for the building was the lowest of four tenders.
