400 Mammoth Tickets CN.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Sept. 8. Some Aucklanders this morning were able to buy tickets in the Second Mammoth Golden Kiwi lottery, which “closed" before noon last Friday. The lottery organiser, Mr N. McArthur, said 400 tickets recalled from the South Island before the lottery officially opened last Thursday morning were delayed in transit. “We had asked for them because of an indicated greater demand here,” he said.. The tickets were issued this morning to two Queen street agents and were sold in less than an hour. No decision has been made on the mammoth’s drawing date, he said.
