LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
(1) Letters sent to the Editor for printing should preferably be typed, otherwise they must be written in ink on one side of the paper ' only A legible signature and full address are re quired whether these are to be published or not. A P.O box number is not a sufficient address (2) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers <3> The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which, for any reason, is unsuitable for printing; nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters although this will be done where it seems to be need, ful, or enter into any cor respondence. (4) Letters must not be of more than 150 words.
Mary Thorne. —No space now foF a correspondence on conscientious objection. Aileen G. Thomas. —No space now for another discussion of teaching methods. Blind Punter.—Does not comply with. our rules, set out above. Puzzled. —You do not make clear to what proposal you are referring. Curious.—We do not know; but we hardly think it would approve. H. Shaw (Auckland).—Correspondence lapsed some time ago. No space to reopen. Fay C. Myers.—We can see little connexion between the two things. Discourtesy by traffic . inspectors is not countenanced by the City Council and any complaint giving full particulars will receive attention.
