(N.Z. Press Association)' MASTERTON, Sept. 7. Canterbury started badly in the national women’s indoor basketball tourney at Masterton today, losing its first game to Otago 49-45, but improved to overcome Auckland by 44 points to 38 in the afternoon.
Otago beat Wanganui 50-31
