Pocock 4/55) by an innings and 78 runs. Surrey 10 points. At Taunton: Kent 174 and 247 (F. Rumsey 5/77) beat Somerset 215/3 dec. and 154 (E. Fillary 3/11) by 52 runs. Kent 10 points, Somerset 2. At Scarborough: W’est Indian XI 30/4 dec. arid 202 (J. Savage 5/77) drew with an England XI 272/4 dec. and 140/3 (J. Bolus 52 not out). At Lord's: Middlesex 289/6 dec and 209/6 dec. beat Derbyshire 192 and 220 (H. Johnson 100; F. Titmus 7/73), by 86 runs. Middlesex 10 points. At Worcester: Worcestershire 239 and 224 (T. Graveney 50, R. Headley 105; T. Greenhough 7/56) beat Lancashire 324 and 66 (D. Slade 6/15, N. Gifford 4/33) by 73 runs. Worcestershire 10 points, Lancashire 2.
