Fund To Benefit
The Woolston District Improvements Association’s project to restore the Woolston baths is to benefit from a collection to be taken by the Woolston Rugby League Club on Sunday. The occasion will be the club’s annual match for the Gordon Rew Challenge Cup between past and present players and will be played at Anderson Park, near the Woolston Railway Station. The half-time seven-a-side match will be between two teams from the club’s under-nine team, which this season won its grade’s knockout competition and a trophy for the most improved team.
